Saxon Transfer Price for Karl Leo

Karl Leo is awarded the 1st place of the Saxon Transfer Prize 2019.
Hector Fellow Karl Leo was awarded the Transfer Prize 2019 at the futureSAX Innovation Conference on June 19, 2019. Martin Dulig, Saxon Minister of State for Economy, Labour and Transport, presented him with the certificate and the trophy. Karl Leo received the award for his work in the field of miniaturizable spectroscopy based on organic electronics. For more than 20 years Karl Leo and his team at TU Dresden have been researching organic semiconductors. Karl Leo cooperates with Senorics GmbH, a spin-off of the Integrated Center for Applied Physics and Photonic Materials (IAPP) at TU Dresden, where his research is directly applied.
The futureSAX is an innovation platform of the Free State of Saxony which promotes and networks companies. The futureSAX Innovation Conference takes place annually and is a meeting place for all stakeholders. In addition to the Transfer Prize (1st-3rd place), the Founder Prize (1st-3rd place), the Innovation Prize (1st-3rd place), the futureSAX Audience Prize and the Special Prize of the Saxon Chamber of Skilled Crafts are awarded at the conference.
