The article titled "Changing accommodation behaviour during multifocal soft contact lens wear using auditory biofeedback training" by HFA doctoral student Sandra Wagner analyses the effects of biofeedback training on autonomously controlled bodily functions in order to cope with conditions such as anxiety and hyperactivity. The article concludes that biofeedback training can improve the effectiveness of multifocal soft contact lenses (MFCL) treatment in myopic children.
The paper was produced in collaboration with Hector Fellow Eberhart Zrenner, as well as Frank Schaeffel of the Research Institute of Ophthalmology at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and David Troilo of the College of Optometry at the State University of New York.
