The professor for Zoology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Konstanz, Prof. Dr. Axel Meyer, is one of the Fellows 2017-2018 of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at the Harvard University. Scientists who are leading experts in the field of arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences can be named Radcliffe Fellows. Axel Meyer was appointed Radcliffe Fellow due to his leading role in the field of evolutionary biology and in the field of the evolution, specification, and adaptation of cichlid fish species flocks.
