New Position for Antje Boetius

Hector Fellow Antje Boetius is the new Director of the Alfred Wegener Institute.
Since November 1st, 2017 Prof Boetius heads the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research. She succeeded Prof. Karin Loche who succesfully led the institute for the past 10 years.
Prof Boetius states as a main goal to improve the interaction between science and society.
