Patrick Cramer receives Otto Warburg Medal

German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology honors Patrick Cramer.
With the Otto Warburg Medal 2020, the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology awards Patrick Cramer's outstanding research on gene transcription and regulation.
The Otto Warburg Medal has been awarded since 1963 and is considered the highest German award in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. Previous recipients include leading international scientists such as Prof. Dr. Peter Hegemann and Prof. Emmanuelle Charpentier. Since 2007, the medal is endowed with a prize money of 25,000 euros, sponsored by Elsevier and its journal Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA).
The award ceremony will take place digitally on March 26, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All interested parties are invited to register for the event no later than March 24.
